The tower includes amenities such as 22,000 square feet of retail space available for lease, a large outdoor pool area with cabanas, and on-site public parking. This property is within walking distance of Mill Avenue and Arizona State University campus, and just across the street from the Tempe Transit Center, which houses the light rail and METRO systems. Planned opening August 2013.
The Residence Inn will mark Downtown Tempe's third hotel and the first extended stay hotel, bringing a much needed service to the area. Located at 5th Street and Forest Avenue, this 11 story hotel will have 173 rooms, 3,500 sq. ft. of conference space and 5,700 sf of retail space. The Residence Inn is located directly across 5th Street from the Tempe Transit Center, making access to light rail convenient for guests. Construction is currently underway with completion expected in Fall 2013.
Also known as Block 12, this five story collaborative learning space will host ASU's newest bookstore/marketplace, a drop-in classroom space for students, administration offices for faculty as well as housing ASU's School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment. The project will encompass the southeast corner of College Avenue and 7th Street, with an shaded outdoor event space activating the open area for students. The development sits in walking distance from the ASU Campus, Sun Devil Stadium, Mill Avenue, and the Tempe Transit Center.
